• Account details (display name, email address, password)
• Profile information and goal categories
• RITE content, video submissions, and comments
• Votes, reactions, and other community interactions
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Device information and usage data when you use our app
• Push notification tokens (only if you grant permission)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the RITE platform
• Display your public RITEs and proof submissions to the community
• Process wager transactions and distribute winnings
• Send accountability reminders and community notifications
• Calculate Heat scores, Rank Points, and badge achievements
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Respond to your support requests

3. Public Content

RITE is a public accountability platform. By design, your RITEs, proof videos, display name, and activity are visible to other users. Do not post anything you would not want the public to see.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), and cloud infrastructure providers who help us operate the platform
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users
• Business transfers: If RITE is acquired or merges with another company, your data may transfer as part of that transaction

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time via the Delete Account page or by emailing support@rite.app. Deletion removes your personal data but may not remove content that has been shared publicly and captured by other users.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Children's Privacy

RITE is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of RITE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
